Do you know who you really are?

Many people don't. Selfishness and pride can camouflage the real you. The true you can also obscured by popular culture, repackaged by the deceptions of the media, and warped by the "cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things" (Mark 4:19).

Furthermore, Satan and his minions are out to steal the spiritual identities of God's children, seeking to obscure the truth and confuse believers regarding who they really are in God.

Only in the light of Christ's sacrifice can we even begin to appreciate how much we are worth to God. The Father unlocked the vault of heaven and emptied it to save us, and nothing will deter Him from His purpose to liberate the people Christ ransomed with His own life—and bring them safely home.

The goal of this book, by popular evangelist Pastor Doug Batchelor, is to help fan away the chaff, exposing the essence of who you really are and—more important—who you can really become through Christ!

One of the best books

I read this nook a few years ago and decided that every young person should read it. I usually give this book to any young person I interact with. It is a great read and an eye opener.

Excellent read

Enjoyed reading this little book that is packed with practical insight for a stronger spiritual life. God blesses Pastor Doug with a valuable talent of translating into a few words otherwise complex principles. It is a great present and sharing book.

The Truth CAN Set You Free

I keep this convenient size book in my purse so that any chance I get, I can read it. (Waiting for doctors, etc., etc.) I read a lot & this book is quick & easy to read with some outstanding suggestions to find out who you REALLY are.

Great book!

I had a good time reading this book! I believe we all need to know who and whose we are and this book helps. I had this book for free while watching the central studies; I gave my copy to a lady name Laura that I met in the airplane. When I got home, I decided to buy 10 more so I can give out. It is definitely a must read!

Doug Batchelor

Doug BatchelorAs a teenager, Doug Batchelor had everything money could buy—everything but happiness. His search led him to drugs, fights, and suicidal fantasies. Convinced that life held no purpose, he soon found himself scavenging food from garbage bins and living in a cave in the hills above Palm Springs.

The happiness Doug wanted eluded him until the day he began reading the dust-covered Bible someone had left in his cave. What happened next can only be described as a miracle! Today, Pastor Doug is president of Amazing Facts, an international multimedia ministry, and can be seen and heard around the world on television and radio programs such as Sabbath School Study Hour, Amazing Facts Presents, and Bible Answers Live.

Doug's down-to-earth approach to living the Christian life stems from his own experiences. He is an energetic man of vision and deep spirituality with an unusual ability to communicate not only to church members, but also to the millions of secular-minded people of today. He is the author of dozens of books, including, The Richest Caveman, Caveman Theology, Shadows of Light, Broken Chains, and At Jesus’ Feet .
