I needed a book to help me cook healthier meals. I was very happy with the many recipes I thought I would like.
I'm having fun trying the new recipes. I'm glad there are some wheat free meals. We have liked most of what we tried so far. Some ingredients I substitute for less expensive ones.
This cookbook is really good. It has healthy, tasty recipes! Also, the recipes aren't complicated nor do they require really unusual ingredients. Super tasty with great pictures so you know what you're making! Also, the QR codes printed with each recipe is a great resource with a quick video on how to make the dish.
Wow what a cool innovative cookbook! Ive been looking for a new vegan cookbook and my friend kept raving about this one. Ive never come across a cookbook with QR codes! For each recipe theres a QR code that you can scan with your smart phone and it will take you to a 2-3 minute video of the dish being prepared. If you don't have a smart phone you can also find the videos online at the life and health network website. I also love the look of this cookbook. The pictures makes me want to make everything! So far ive tried 4 recipes and they've all been winners! The raw german cheesecake is to die for.
The cooking demos that pop up on your phone or tablet by simply scanning the QR code is brilliant! The videos are only a couple minutes long but give you a great idea of how to cook the dish. I gave this cookbook to several friends as gifts who I know want to try vegetarianism but don't know how. This book is the best for that. Yet the dishes are varied, tasty and healthy.
I loved the breakfast idea. Also liked the 50 or so pages of introduction at the beginning of the book.
