Are you sinking while you’re thinking?
Excessive worry can consume a person from the inside out, resulting in sickness, insomnia, and paralyzing fear. It can damage relationships and even our witness for the gospel.
But since problems are a part of life, how do we manage the worry that comes with them?
Pastor Doug Batchelor’s winsome but practical Finding Peace in a World of Worry is packed with useful solutions not only to liberate those drowning in stress, but also
to prevent stress from building up in the first place. Best of all, these principles come directly from the Word of God!
You’ll discover in these pages a lifeline to victory, where you will encounter the One who brings “the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding” (Philippians 4:7). Here is where you cast your cares upon Christ and experience a serenity that is not subject to circumstances.
This book helped me when I was going through a lot health wise and spirituality wise. I read a chapter every night before going to bed. I can highly recommend this book if you are a worrier like I was!
I did distribute them in my neighbor - before doing that I prayed and may God touch the heart of them please prey for my neighborhood
I think some more emphasis could be put on eating properly to reduce anxiety. For me, that is the key to having a clean mind to study the bible more and mentally feel good to receive Christ's blessings. I think this is a great starting point for a new or non-Christian so I passed it on to a friend who did not read the bible much.
It was a wonderful blessing to me! Pastor Doug writes so clearly and easy to comprehend. God bless him!
I am giving it to my daughter for her birthday present
Delay and cost of shipping is a major problem I am considering whether to continue ordering from you or not.
Love it! It helped me to refocus!
We all found it very encouraging in the world we now live in.
I love this book because it tells you step by step on how to help your self in time of crisis. So clear to understand and provide examples right from the Bible, I bought 15 books because I want to share good news with my friends.
